Pre-Engineered Building
& PEB Construction Company

Planning a warehouse, a factory shed or a cold store and don’t want to wait a year for it? That’s the kind of job we do. Ramanand Enterprises designs, fabricates and puts up pre-engineered steel buildings. We size every one for your loads, your span and your budget, and it’s usually ready well before a brick-and-concrete building would be.

WHY PEB

Why businesses are moving to pre-engineered buildings

Why businesses are moving to pre-engineered buildings
Fast-Track Steel Construction

Look at how fast logistics, manufacturing and food processing are growing right now. Everyone needs space, and they needed it yesterday. A new factory, a fulfillment centre or a cold chain unit can’t sit waiting on a slow build. Brick and concrete takes time, needs a big crew, and once it’s up, changing it is a headache.

So more owners are choosing a Pre-Engineered Building, or PEB. The steel frame is designed and cut in a factory, then sent to your site in parts. There are main members (columns and rafters), secondary members (purlins and girts) and the roof and wall sheets. On site, the crew bolts it all together. Less guesswork, fewer surprises, and a faster finish.

At Ramanand Enterprises we handle the design, the fabrication and the construction of PEB warehouses, industrial sheds and cold storage. Each job is shaped around the client’s business, the plot and the money they have to spend.

Structural Anatomy

What is a PEB, in Simple Terms?

Think of it as a kit made to order. Every column, rafter and purlin is sized for the load it will really carry. Steel goes where it’s needed and nowhere else. That’s why the building ends up strong, lighter than an ordinary steel structure, and quick to put up.

01

Primary Members

The primary members are the columns, rafters and other main supports. They carry the heavy loads, and the frame is assembled by bolting the end plates of the sections together.

Columns Rafters End-Plate Connections
02

Secondary Members

The secondary members, purlins and girts, hold the roof and wall sheets and pass their load on to the main frame. They add overall stability and ensure seamless sheet installation.

Sheeting & Cladding

These profiled sheets keep rain and heat out, and you can add insulation, skylights and ventilators to them. Premium coatings prevent corrosion and maintain indoor comfort.

Key Parameters That Define Your Building

Before we draw up a design or a price, we settle a few basic numbers with you to ensure your structure matches your exact workflow and equipment needs.

Building Length

Runs from the outside flange of the end-wall column at one end to the same point at the other. It’s made up of end bays and interior bays. How wide you space those bays changes both the steel weight and the final cost.

Building Height

Means the eave height. We usually measure from the bottom of the column base plate to the top of the eave strut. If columns sit lower or higher than the finished floor, we measure from finished floor. Gives room for racking, mezzanines, cranes or stackers.

Roof Slope

Roof slope is simply the angle of the roof. For industrial buildings a gentle 1:10 slope is common for quick drainage and wind deflection, but we can engineer other slopes to match your site and aesthetic preferences.

Width & Clear Span

A PEB frame can give you a wide hall with no columns in the middle. Forklifts move freely and laying out your storage or assembly line gets much easier, maximising 100% usable floor space.

Quality & Compliance

Designed to Recognised Standards

A building is only as good as its design. We follow recognised Indian and International codes to guarantee safety, load endurance, and structural integrity.

IS CODE
IS 800:2007

Code of practice for general construction in steel, ensuring fundamental structural stability.

IS CODE
IS 875 (Parts 1 to 5)

Design loads & combinations: dead load, imposed loads, wind pressures, and site snow loads.

IS CODE
IS 1893 (Part 1)

Criteria for earthquake-resistant design of structures calibrated to local seismic zones.

MBMA
MBMA Guidelines

Metal Building Manufacturers Association standards for optimal design and manufacturing methods.

AISC
AISC Specifications

American Institute of Steel Construction specifications for high-performance structural steel.

AWS
AWS Standards

American Welding Society standards for precision structural welding and joints testing.

We also look at wind speed, seismic zone, roof and floor loads, and what the building will be used for. The aim is a structure that’s safe and doesn’t cost more than it should.
Versatile Applications

Where PEB Makes Sense

PEB suits nearly any large-span building that is single-storey or low-rise. Here’s where we see it used most across modern industry:

Warehouses and godowns LOGISTICS & STORAGE
Warehouses and Godowns

Warehouses and godowns that need big open storage, high stacking height, and smooth, unhindered material handling.

Industrial sheds MANUFACTURING
Industrial Sheds

Industrial sheds for manufacturing, assembly, heavy machinery workshops, and specialized processing plants.

Cold storage TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Cold Storage

Cold storage for food processing, pharma and agriculture, where holding the right temperature and airtight insulation is everything.

Logistics and e-commerce centres SUPPLY CHAIN
Logistics & E-commerce Centres

High-speed fulfillment centres, sorting hubs, and distribution centers configured for high docking capacity.

Showrooms, schools and commercial buildings COMMERCIAL
Showrooms & Commercial Buildings

Showrooms, schools, sports arenas, supermarkets, and other commercial or institutional facilities requiring modern curb appeal.

Prefabricated buildings and portable containers MODULAR
Prefab Buildings & Hutments

Prefabricated buildings, hutments and portable containers, for site offices, labour accommodation, security posts, and temporary needs.

Proven Execution

How We Work at Ramanand Enterprises

A clear, transparent, and streamlined 3-step workflow that takes your industrial vision from initial concept to turnkey handover.

1

Consultation & Requirement Gathering

First we listen. We want to know what your business needs, what your budget is and when you need the building. If it helps, our team will come and see the site.

2

Quotation & Approval

Next we send a detailed cost estimate and a project plan. Once you’re happy, we lock the materials, the timeline and the contract terms with total transparency.

3

On-Site Construction & Installation

Then our own team takes it from foundation to structure, roofing and finishing, keeping to safety and quality standards at each stage until final client handover.

Client Due Diligence

Choosing the Right PEB Company

Before you sign with any contractor, ask them a few straight questions to protect your investment and avoid costly mid-project surprises.

Choosing the right PEB company
Key Questions Every Client Should Ask:

Will you get a proper structural design based on recognised codes, or just a rough estimate?

What steel grade, sheet thickness and protective coating will they use on primary and secondary frames?

Is one team responsible for foundation, erection and finishing, or are there several disconnected sub-contractors?

Can they show you finished projects like yours and verify customer track records?

What’s the committed timeline, and what help do you get once the building is handed over?

Our Ramanand Guarantee:

A contractor who is honest about their work will answer all of this plainly, and will put the answers in writing.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings, timelines, costs, and customization options.

Mostly industrial sheds, factories, warehouses, logistics centres, cold storage and commercial buildings. PEB is also widely adopted for modular site offices, container units, and workshops.

On most large-span projects, yes. You save on steel, on labour and on time. The exact amount depends on size, height, loads and finishes. Additionally, earlier commissioning generates revenue much faster.

Yes. Length, width, eave height, roof slope, doors, skylights, insulation and ventilation can all be planned around the way you work. Crane beams and mezzanine floors can also be seamlessly integrated.

Yes. We can plan it from the start so extra bays can be added at the end of the building without disrupting existing warehouse operations or dismantling major structural elements.

It depends on the size and the site. But the factory work and the foundation work happen side by side, so a PEB is normally much quicker than a conventional building. We write the timeline into your quotation.

Yes, we do. We build cold storage with the temperature control and advanced insulated panels that food, pharma and farm produce need.
